Nyanza is located in the Southern Province of Rwanda, is emerging as a significant hub for cultural tourism in Africa. King’s Palace (Urukari) is a traditional palace offers a glimpse into Rwanda’s royal history. Visitors can explore the beautifully restored palace and learn about the country’s monarchy. The palace also features traditional Rwandan architecture and exhibits. This palace houses traditional items and long-horned royal cows ‘Inyambo’ that form an integral part of Rwandan culture. Nyanza is a nice destination of bird watching in Rwanda with different kinds of marshes, swamps, forest mosaic and rivers which are the home of animal species with uniqueness of a lot of birds in general.
